I'm just curious. I was walking by the Yangtze on Somerset Street and I saw a store (where asian videos used to be sold) with colorful paper in the window with some words like "art." "music." "coffee." "community." I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about it?

Hi! I'm relatively new to the fandom (I've watched SVU on and off since it debuted, but I just started watching it seriously about a month or so ago), and I just recently joined the community. I've been vidding for other fandoms for a while now, and I completed my first E/O music vid today. I wanted to post it up here for all of you. Hopefully you'll enjoy it!

Description: Edited in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. When I heard this song I couldn't help but think about season seven/eight, in all its Stabler/Benson angst glory. I think the vid's pretty easy to follow: Elliot faces some difficult times during these two seasons, and only Olivia seems to (or tries to) understand. Nevertheless, Elliot pushes away everyone around him, including Olivia, which he soon learns to regret. In the end, however, Olivia will always be there. After all, they're partners - whether you wish to think of their partnership as platonic or romantic (I'm in the latter category).

Please let me know what you think. Although I've been making videos for almost two years, I'm always nervous when I enter a new fandom. Any critiques are welcomed!

Does anyone know any downtown coffee shops (besides for tim hortons) that are open all night? Preferably with wifi. Thanks!

We got a kitty off of the roof of our building - the neighbours have seen it up in the nearby tree two days ago and so make the conclusion he's been on the roof for a while. The kitty seemed to be very hungry (which has been rectified by this point) and very skinny, but otherwise seems to be a good-natured curious cat.

As we have our own kitty, we will be bringing the rescued one to the shelter on Champagne Ave (http://www.ottawahumane.ca/contact.html) tomorrow morning. We hope to survive the night with the two cats, one of which is exhausted and scared and the other indignant with us bringing another animal home without notice, so if anyone spots their kitty and would want to pick it up tonight, let us know.

I've always said that the reason I can get away with using my real name on line (on my fanfic and such) is because when you Google my name, you have to wade through thousands of hits before finding a link that is actually about me. So this isn't a total surprise. *g*
